As a result, world No.1 Wang Chuqin lost 3-4 in seven games, missing match points against his teammate, thus stopping in the quarter-finals and not being able to defend his title, while Liang Jingkun, who was runner-up in the men&#8217;s singles last year, once again progressed to the finals. They are both mainstays of the Chinese table tennis team, and have played each other many times before, with four international wins and four ties each, so there is not much of a difference in their
