Match Process】
At the start, Zhu Sibing was immediately pressured by Sun Yingsha’s high-quality topspin loops. Although Zhu earned one point on serve, she was unable to shift the momentum. Sun surged ahead with an 8-2 lead, allowed two points back, then closed the game quickly with two more in succession to take the opener 11-4.
In the second game, Sun once again seized the early lead. Zhu fought hard to stay in contention but was repeatedly pinned down in the middle zone. This time she only managed to score three points before conceding, leaving Sun just one game away from victory.
The third game followed a similar script. Sun Yingsha kept her rhythm steady, racing to a commanding 10-2 lead and earning eight match points. Though Zhu stole one back with a counter-attacking chop, Sun quickly sealed the game 11-3, completing the sweep and marching into the round of 16.

【Additional Notes】
It is worth noting that all three Chinese defensive players competing at this Grand Smash have now been eliminated, each by a score of 0-3. Besides Zhu Sibing’s loss to Sun Yingsha, Zhu Ziyu fell to Zhu Yuling (Macau, China), and Yang Yiyun was defeated by Akula (India).
Compared to top international choppers such as Honoka Hashimoto (Japan) and Han Ying (Germany), these players still have a clear gap in strength and experience, showing that more development is needed.
