Match 1 – Women’s Doubles
The “two world champions pair” of Kuai Man and Miu Hirano kicked things off for Shenzhen. They overpowered East China University’s Zhang Xiangyu and Wang Xiaotong 3–0 (15–13, 11–6, 11–7) to give their team the early lead.

Match 2 – Women’s Singles
Shenzhen’s young talent Qin Yuxuan struggled against East China University’s top player Wang Yidi, succumbing 1–3 after four competitive sets (8–11, 7–11, 14–12, 4–11), leveling the score at 1–1.

Match 3 – Women’s Singles
Japan’s world champion Miu Hirano, though favored and ranked above Wang Xiaotong, had been off the singles court due to health issues. She took a commanding 2–0 lead, then dropped one set before staging a dramatic comeback—saving three game points in the fourth—to win 3–1 (11–6, 11–8, 5–11, 12–10).

Match 4 – Women’s Singles Showdown
The spotlight was on the national‑team level matchup between 21‑year‑old Kuai Man and 28‑year‑old Wang Yidi. Kuai clearly had the edge: despite Wang saving three match points, Kuai closed it out in straight sets (14–12, 13–11, 12–10), denying any hopes of a reverse sweep.

With these results, the first phase of women’s team play has concluded. Shenzhen University stands undefeated at 2–0, topping the standings. Shandong Luneng, East China University, Huangshi Base·Huaxin, and Shanghai Longteng are tied at 1–1. Chengdu Gaoxin Ruoshui sits at the bottom with 0–2.

We now look ahead to the second phase, starting July 25, and eagerly await Sun Yingsha’s return to CTTSL competition.
