The SANWEI Trio Echo table tennis blade is a five-ply, all wood design that provides perfect control with a deadly blow. The Echo is a powerful and precise blade with a weight and thickness of 80g+/-5g.
Sanwei Echo limba outer plies work well with Chinese starter rubbers such as Sanwei Ultraspin. They create the perfect balance of medium-hard Chinese rubbers to medium-soft blades. Beginners have less refined strokes, so the total feeling of rubber and blade shouldn’t be stiff. It is also compatible with ESN rubbers that are 52.5 to 55 degrees. This is about 10 degrees more or less than Chinese rubber hardness. The right combination of hardness and softness allows me to have quick setups, good control, and to maintain a fast set up.
Sanwei Echo has a medium high looping arc, which is to be expected of a blade that feels soft. Sanwei Echo blades are great for underspin looping. Sanwei Echo is a great blade for looping underspin. If you are using ESN rubbers, this would mean rubbers that have a 50-degree or higher angle.
