In the early morning of January 11, Beijing time, the table tennis WTT Doha Star Tournament continued, originally everyone was looking forward to seeing a battle of world champions – Timo Boll (Germany) vs. Carlsson (Sweden) did not start because the latter withdrew from the tournament. Boll and Carlsson are both famous players in the sport of table tennis, however, after losing the men’s doubles to Ma Long/Wang Chuqin on January 10, Carlsson announced his withdrawal from the tournament due to illness.
